01 — About

Reliable systems, friction-free tooling.

I'm a Developer Experience Engineer with 7+ years of experience across game development, infrastructure automation, CI/CD reliability, build engineering, and production support. My biggest win to date: a migration of 56,000+ version control workspaces — one checked-out view of the project per developer, artist and build machine — was bottlenecked on an audit script that took hours to list what still had to move. I refactored it down to seconds, so the migration team could get a fresh list on demand instead of waiting a day for a stale one.

Currently at Maxis (EA), I support CI/CD reliability, VM provisioning, and infrastructure automation for large-scale game development, own high-severity incidents end-to-end, and help keep delivery secure with HCP Vault, DPAPI, and credential-remediation workflows across IT, security, cloud, and partner teams.

I also build the team's AI platform work — a grounded internal support assistant with a strict source order and a citation on every answer, prompt-injection guards, token and cost telemetry, a daily spend cap with an automatic kill switch, and a staged rollout with a gate between each stage. The design rule I care most about: if a question is outside what the system can verify, it escalates to a human instead of guessing. A confident wrong answer in a support channel is worse than no answer.

Before EA, I spent close to four years at Ubisoft Toronto as a Release & Build Specialist, and before that as a Tools Support Specialist — building and supporting the build/deployment systems behind shipped titles like Far Cry 6 and XDefiant.

I also teach part-time at St. Lawrence College, covering Python, C++, C#, and AI-assisted development practices. I care about systems that are reliable, tooling that doesn't get in people's way, and making complex things understandable.
